My favourite holiday destination is Denmark. Quite easy-going people all around, picturesque villages, moderate climate and a lot of quiet beaches.
During our most recent stay in Denmark we had rented a small room in Aalborg, whence you can reach many places of interest: the Skagerrak and the Kattegat, Skagen, Aarhus (the culture capital of Denmark)...
I can even give you the address of our landlord back then if you're interested. The house is situated in a very tranquil neighbourhood not too far from the city centre.
