Am Wochenende wird die Atheist Alliance convention in Washington stattfinden. Ein Programmpunkt ist die Diskussion eines Symbols für Atheisten.

Jedenfalls wollte einer der Teilnehmer Vorschläge als "Poster" anfertigen lassen und stieß auf einige Probleme:

Well, I'm an atheist, and I've done work for churches. I can understand not making a donation. But throwing someone out of the print shop? Comparing them with the Ku Klux Klan? Oh. Wait. They're Christians.

Let's hear it for Office Max. They were the only ones who would print it. And deal with an atheist.<<

Natürlich muss man Atheisten abweisen, der Ku Klux Klan kommt ja auch nicht rein.

Ich hätte gerne mal den Schrei der öffentlichen Empörung gehört, wenn ein "christlicher" Copyshop z.B. einer jüdischen Gruppe verweigert hätte, Plakate mit "unchristlichem" Inhalt zu drucken

Aber es ist etwas besorgniserregend, wenn man sich überlegt, dass Leute mit so einer Einstellung auch wichtigere Positionen als Copyshop-Leiter innehaben könnten...
