In den USA hat eine Rent-A-Cop (was immer das ist - Uni-Sicherheitsdienst?) eine Studentenbude untersucht mit der Begründung:

Rent-A-Cop sind private Sicherheitsdienste, in denen sich Polizisten was dazuverdienen oder Ex-Polizisten arbeiten. Mag sein, dass der Begriff inziwschen etwas weiter gefasst wird.
